Communion will be celebrated at the 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. services this Sunday. During the Vespers service, the visiting Youth Choir of South Main Baptist Church from Houston, Texas, will sing selections from Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass.

The Session of Fourth Presbyterian Church has called a special meeting of the congregation for this Sunday, July 6 following 11:00 worship. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the report of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee for Mission. All members are encouraged to attend.

Summer with Chicago Lights Center for Life and Learning
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Chicago Lights Center for Life and Learning has a variety of wonderful summertime opportunities planned for adults sixty and over. Among the events and classes taking place over the next two months are—
--a chocolate walking tour down Michigan Avenue on Wednesday, July 9
--a five-session traveling sketch class, which will begin on Friday, July 11
--a viewing of the documentary film Sicko on Thursday, July 10 at 12:00 noon in the Page Smith Room
--a day trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Monday, July 14

Concerts at Fourth Church

There will be no free Friday Noonday Concert this week, because of the Independence Day holiday, but beginning next Friday, July 11, the concerts will move out to the Garth. in the sanctuary at 12:10 p.m. The Music by the Fountain series will take place each Friday noon day from July 11 to August 29.
