Are you someone who takes pride in finding the smallest typo buried in even the largest document?

Who’s all about details? Who appreciates and fusses over proper grammar and syntax? Perhaps a recent (or soon-to-be) English-major graduate who wants to prove it’s possible to get a good job without ignoring your passion for language?

Then this might be the job for you!

The Editorial Assistant is responsible for helping to proofread, edit, format, and manage production of the many publications of Fourth Presbyterian Church as well as helping to write material for the church website and electronic newsletters.

Responsibilities require exceptional proofreading skills and attention to detail and include proofreading and editing both content and layout for newsletters, Sunday bulletins, and brochures; maintaining website pages and calendar information that feeds into the website; and assisting with other digital media, from information kiosk displays to social media outlets.
