Sunday School

Our Sunday School program is designed for children ages three years old through fifth grade, helping them learn not just the fundamentals of biblical stories but the heart behind them as well.

On Sunday mornings parents bring their children up to the fourth floor of the Gratz Center, where the classes run concurrently with the 10:00 a.m. worship service. We do not require that your child be registered prior to attending class on a Sunday morning; however, we do ask that all visitors fill out a registration form upon their arrival.

Sunday School ends after the 10:00 worship service ends and parents return to the fourth floor to pick up their children.

About Sunday School

During the first half of each class, children attend (with their Sunday School teachers) “Children’s Chapel” for a short worship service. The kids sing both liturgical music and fun songs, along with receiving a spoken message from Pastor Matt, taking a weekly offering, and having a chance to offer prayers to God.

During the second half of the hour, each age/grade level is led by our wonderful volunteer teachers back in their respective classrooms. Kids have a chance to read that day’s biblical story, to see it brought to life in a video, and then participate in a craft or activity that reinforces that day’s lesson.
