The Gold Coast Encore Chorale is cosponsored by the CLL, the Clare, and Skyline Village Chicago.
Challenge yourself to do something new! If you love to sing, sign up for the summer session of the Gold Coast Encore Chorale for older adults. No auditions are required, and no experience is necessary.
Revisit the classic hits of the ’50s and ’60s with Encore Rocks! Repertoire includes timeless tunes such as “Rock Around the Clock,” “It’s My Party,” “Blue Moon,” “California Dreamin’,” and more.
Registration is $125 for the ten-week session and includes a practice CD, online practice tracks, and sheet music to keep. Find out more and register online at http://www.encoreillinois.org/
Encore Rocks will finish the session with two concerts. The first (optional, not required) is a neighborhood show at The Community House in Hinsdale, IL on Wednesday evening, August 16. The second is a combined concert at Fourth Presbyterian Church on Sunday, August 20 at 5:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m. call time for singers), featuring the Encore Rocks Chorales from Hinsdale and the Gold Coast, who will be joined by a four-piece live band, The Unity Temple Players.

Join residents and guests of The Clare for a night at the Grant Park Music Festival from a unique perspective—sitting on stage behind the orchestra in the choral riser seats! Prior to the concert at 7:00 p.m., participants will enjoy a light supper and pre-concert talk in the Choral Rehearsal Hall of the Pritzker Pavilion then move to the choral riser seats on stage to enjoy the performance.
$45 for all registrants (ticket includes seat and pre-conference reception and talk).
