Join us for meditation at the Replogle Center—whether for a “Sacred Pause” of twenty minutes on a Tuesday morning or one of our Tuesday evening meditaiton sessions.

In the midst of your busy life, take a few minutes on Tuesday morning to find some stillness and experience silence. Take a break from the relentless pace and stress of daily life.

You don't have to be an experienced meditator to attend, and you're free to use the silence of our Sacred Pause in any way you like. We have resources to help you practice if you need help (poetry, readings, inspirational photography), but the format is simple and open: a greeting, a candle, a bell, twenty minutes of silence.

In the spiritual traditions of the West and the East, meditation is an essential way to make us fully present to God, to ourselves, and to creation. Christian contemplation is attuning ourselves to God's presence by simply being fully conscious in the present moment.

Whether you call it meditation or contemplation, you are welcome to join us for a Sacred Pause.

Tuesday Evening Meditation at Replogle
In October: Letting Go

    Meditation 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.

This group meditation is open to all, whether you are new to meditation or an experienced practitioner.

To enhance our meditation experience, leaders  provide a theme for each month’s discussion time. After sitting in meditative silence, our conversation focuses on that theme, related to the month and season, that can enhance meditation.

In Octobeer we are focusing on “Letting Go.” Just as the leaves that fall from the trees provide the opportunity for renewal in the spring, letting go of maladaptive thoughts and judgments can be transformative for us. Meditation can help us let go of what blocks our flourishing and growth.

You are welcome to come whenever you can. We gather on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. (which includes 25 minutes of silent meditation, followed by discussion centered on the monthly theme).
