Youth, Children, and Families

Do you have children who are Sunday School-aged or youth who are in junior high or senior high? Or are you interested in what’s involved in being a Sunday School teacher or youth or Confirmation leader? Or maybe you’re looking to connect with other parents and families. Join us as we talk about Fourth Church opportunities for children, youth, and families!

Education and Spiritual Formation

A wide variety of resources are available to you through Fourth Church for your ongoing exploration and spiritual growth. Come learn about Bible study opportunities, our adult education classes, Center for Life and Learning weekday offerings for those sixty and over, and spiritual formation practices and experiences that deepen our relationship with God, self, and one another.


Chicago Lights Tutoring and Urban Farm

Chicago Lights—the nonprofit community outreach arm of Fourth Church—partners with youth and adults to build brighter futures through supportive relationships and life-changing programs. Among these are the Elam Davies Social Service Center, the Urban Farm, and the Tutoring program. Come discover how you can be part of this work, whether as a tutor or by purchasing produce at the Farmstand!


Meals Ministry and World Mission

Join the Deacons and Stephen Ministers as they talk about their work and share how to partner with them, whether as a caregiver or care receiver.

The study and practice of faith? Or maybe you are looking to take part in a small group or spend time with others your age. Racial Equity, LGBTQIA Welcome, and Partnerships

Inspired by the radical hospitality of Jesus Christ, Fourth Church welcomes everyone, without exception, into the life of the congregation. Hear from our Racial Equity Council and LGBTQIA: Widening Our Welcome group about ways in which you can be part of this welcome. Learn how our call to reflect the inclusive love of God shapes our interfaith activities, as we embrace our neighbors and celebrate our differences.
