Come dance with us!  According to experts in brain health, dance is one of the best activities for cognitive wellness.  After a session at the Silver Barre, you will walk away with not only a longer, stronger spine and improved foot articulation but with a brain sparking with new and improved neural pathways!

The class includes a classical ballet warm-up at ‘the barre’ (or your kitchen counter) and simple combinations to music that you will know and love!

No special footwear is required but no sneakers, please. A ballet slipper (like the Capezio ‘Juliet’) or some comfy socks work well.

Susan Fay has a BA in Literature and an MA in Dance Education from Northwestern University.  She has taught most genres of dance to all age groups.  Susan has choreographed for musical theatre, led her own dance company and studied the styles of Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, George Balanchine and Mr. Bill “Bojangles” Robinson!
