Our Mission
The mission of Fourth Church’s Meals Ministry is to provide nutritious meals and welcoming hospitality for neighbors who are hungry, living out Fourth Church’s mission to be a light in the city.
We strive to provide a sense of community and welcome to guests, directly and through partner organizations who broaden our community outreach across Chicago
Every week, Meals Ministry prepares and/or serves over 900 meals. Volunteer teams prepare hot meals, make sandwiches, boil eggs, assemble individual portions of bulk food items, and bake desserts.

On Fridays, bag lunches to-go are provided to Social Service Center clients from 9:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
