Adriana Soto Acevedo was born and raised in Puerto Rico and earned a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Linguistics, from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. In 2026, she graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Education and Formation, focusing on theology, gender, public theology, and faith formation.

Adriana has served as a deacon at Iglesia Presbiteriana en Arecibo since age thirteen. Her leadership within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) includes serving as a Young Adult Advisory Delegate to the 225th General Assembly, Co-Moderator of its Special Committee on the Standing Rules, and a current member of the General Assembly Nominating Committee. She has also interned with Westminster Presbyterian Church in Trenton and the Presbytery of Philadelphia. She is Certified Ready to Receive a Call for Ordination to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament by the Presbiterio de San Juan.

Her ministry interests include Latinx, decolonial, and liberation theologies; faith formation; perinatal pastoral care; and the intersection of ministry and health. She views ministry as bridge-building across people, communities, and institutions.

Following graduation, Adriana received a Graduate Fellowship for Parish Ministry to study healing miracles across Christian traditions and pilgrimage communities in Puerto Rico and Europe. In her free time, she enjoys puzzles, reading, walks, and calling family back home.
