About the Gala of Hope
What began almost 30 years ago as a sock hop to support the Replogle Center for Counseling and Well-Being eventually grew into the Mission Benefit, then became Carnaval, and now is Gala of Hope. This festive annual gala, typically held in early March, supports the local mission outreach of Fourth Church — specifically the programs of Chicago Lights.
Gala of Hope offers opportunity to gather for a sit-down dinner and dessert, dance to the music of a live orchestra, and take part in live and silent auctions, all while both enjoying the fellowship of Fourth Church friends and also supporting the life-changing work of, among others, Chicago Lights Tutoring, Summer Day, the Urban Farm, and the Chicago Lights Social Service Center.
